10p: Just in case you forgot your handout at home:

Read up until Part I in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, page 128. Complete the assignments listed below.

Assignments:
1. Fill out the 2nd column of the character chart. 10pts
2. Create a 2-quote t-graph on the significance of fog vs clarity. Look for quotations on pages 42, 101, 114, 116-119, and 123. 10pts

3. List 10 examples of machinery. 10pts
4. Analyze the significance of laughter in a short paragraph. concult pages 16, 22, 48, 104, 128 and 139. 10pts
5. Write a sentence portrait as if you were one of our characters. You can choose from Chief, McMurphy, Nurse Ratched, Billy Bibbit, or Harding 10pts
