10- No reading, unless you need to catch up to chapter 6 in Macho. Have the theme journal complete for Monday.

9HP- DUE TUESDAY: read the letters to the editor handout and have answers completed to the following three questions:
1. Which letter(s) is(are) have the best arguement and why?
2. Name two rhetorical devices the writer used (logical appeal, emotional appeal, etc.).
3. What ideas/appeals/evidence (i.e. statistics, fact, case studies, anecdotes) could you use in your letter that the writer's (of the letter to the editor) used?
